Sa bisa ng Executive Order No. 35 na nilagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. noong 2023, inilunsad ang #PasigBigyangBuhayMuli project para magbigay-daan sa rehabilitasyon ng Ilog Pasig bilang lugar ng transportasyon, turismo, at kabuhayan sa #BagongPilipinas.

Hindi lamang pagpapaganda kundi ang pagbabalik sa dating kalinisan at katanyagan ng napabayaang ilog ang kabilang sa pangunahing layunin ng administrasyon, ayon sa Pangulo.

“This project isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about reclaiming a national treasure and ensuring it serves the people.”
