Описание: Timelapse of my first hand-drawn mandala: from pencil sketch and the seed-of-life foundation, to pen, detailed stippling, and a graffiti-style background — with color reveal in the final minutes (reds, oranges, yellows, and hints of blue). I discuss how mandala construction connects to Buddhist practice (including traditional sand mandalas and their ritual creation/destruction), how the work functions as a meditative technology for attention and presence, and why ritualized making matters to me as a Marine Corps veteran living with PTSD.
