The game starts with Kratos serving Ares and the other Greek gods to which he gave his life for saving it. In this case, Poseidon wants him to get rid of the Hydra, which terrorizes a fleet.
Pretty spectacular start for such an old game, but what else to expect from this epic franchise? I was playing like an idiot though.
I really like how you can walk into its head at the end without a cutscene inbetween, just with a change of camera angles. Reminds me of the good old Donkey Kong 64/ Banjo Kazooie days.
