In this video, we address the rumors regarding the Killer Instinct 64 project.
We confirm that development is currently on pause, but it has not been cancelled. We explain the technical reasons behind this decision and our plan to move forward.
We are also announcing the upcoming release of a playable Proof of Concept (PoC). This build will allow you to test the character select screen and basic movements for Thunder and Combo, proving that the project is real and functional.
To ensure the highest quality, we are developing a custom sprite viewer and extractor tool. Once finished, this tool will be released for free to the community, potentially opening the door for ports to other consoles like the 3DO or Atari Jaguar.
