How to catch flying fish from a kayak -- Rigging live bait on the Hobie Pro Angler

In order to share those good vibes and the little I have learned through picking other people's brain or through my own self-discovery, here is a video about a rig that I came up with in order to outsmart the elusive flying fish. I call this rig, the "rif Raf flying fish rig".

Catching live bait is very time consuming here on Guam so I knew that I had to improvise an efficient way to catch some while avoiding taking time away from the morning bite. After observing tons of my underwater footage, I discovered that flying fish are not shy. They are inquisitive little critters that come and check, about every trolling lure I used from the kayak. I decided to develop this rig while not compromising the presentation of the trolling lure itself.

Day 1...BOOM! It worked...and even since then, it has worked while allowing me to keep trolling for big game fish at the same time.
