Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel!
Today’s daily race was a real test of strategy and tire management — 10 laps around the legendary Daytona circuit.
We were running Group 1 cars, so yeah… it was fast.
I went with the McLaren VGT, and my plan was simple: start on soft tires, push hard, and pass as many cars as possible early on.
By lap 3, I made my pit stop and switched to medium tires. From there, it was all about saving fuel — running in lean mode to avoid a second stop, even if it meant sacrificing some speed.
That gamble paid off. I found myself in P2 on the final lap, and right before the finish line, I managed to close the gap and go for the win.
