Nineteen years after Wendy Kopps undergraduate senior thesis provided a blueprint for inspiring Americas most talented future leaders to address educational inequity, 20,000 Teach For America corps members have impacted the lives of three million students and have gone on to be a powerful force for fundamental change in education. To support similar movements to expand educational opportunity in other countries, Wendy launched Teach For All in collaboration with its sister organization in the U.K., Teach First. Teach For All works with social entrepreneurs who are adapting Teach For Americas model through independent, locally-governed organizations that are enlisting their nations most promising future leaders to address educational disadvantage.
