Welcome to Round 3 of Lone Star Drift 2018! This is the first drift event I have ever hosted that Mark 3 Supra outnumbered S-Chassis in line to get on track LOL! But most of all, we are seeing a turning of the tide that I knew had been coming for a long time, but we hadn't really seen yet, which is the S-Chassis ( S13 S14 ) are starting to get replaced by more modern chassis that break less. The 350Z seems to be the main front runner in this tide, but the FRS, Mustang and Corvette are coming on strong. Even the 370Z made a really strong showing, which is something I wasn't expecting for a couple more years because typically they are still pretty expensive on the open market. But the deal finders are getting their hands on them and they are showing up.
Back on topic though, we had an amazing weekend of Texas drifting just like normal at our Formula D Proam and TXSL Lone Star Drift Round 3. The event was held at a Houston Police training facility, which is a small road course that turns out to be super fun for drifting. So please sit back and enjoy the video!
