Описание:
This is a new project involving the fabrication of a vise pedestal. You will see some general machine shop operations, including lathe and steady rest use, also some simple layout work, and welding of steel.
In Part one I will introduce you to the project at hand, the design, cutting a facing some pipe, and layout out the steel plates for welding.
Part 2 will consist of welding, making use of my Millermatic 251, and running flux-core with gas.
