This official Seventh-day Adventist video by its current President Ted Wilson was released in January 2024. In this video the Seventh-day Adventist President will quote from a book by Ellen White to prove that Seventh-day Adventists are to “Keep the Commandments.” Ted Wilson will quote from the book Christs Object Lessons as the source to prove to Seventh-day Adventists that it is possible to “Keep the Commandments.”
This video will show such a teaching is heretical and ridiculous. The instant a Seventh-day Adventist succeeds and keeps the commandments is the instant that Seventh-day Adventist is condemned by the Scripture as a liar:
1 John 1:8-10 ESV If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (10) If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
A teaching of the Seventh-day Adventist church is to encourage Adventists to Keep the Commandments, that once achieved is to be condemned by the Word of God as a liar.
