🔴 Case 1 – Basildon, Essex
On 4 May 2024, 42-year-old Hassan BOUSANGUAR was found bleeding in a communal hallway at the Riverview Centre in Vange. His injuries were so severe he died months later. One man, CODEY NOLAN, has now been jailed for life for his murder after a meticulous Essex Police investigation tracked a trail of blood back to the flat where Hassan was attacked.
🔴 Case 2 – County Durham ‘Weekend of Terror’
In January 2023, a long-running feud between organised crime groups exploded onto the streets of Hartlepool and Horden. Cars were used as weapons, homes were rammed while children hid inside, and shots were fired in residential streets. Seven men – including JAMES STEPHENSON and WAYNE GRIFFIN – were jailed for a combined 94 years and 7 months after Operation Coastal pieced together more than 400 hours of CCTV, phone data and forensic evidence.
🔴 Case 3 – Home Invasion in South Manchester
A young father, a newborn baby, and a knock at the door that changed everything. Three men with a long-held grudge forced their way into a family home and carried out a brutal attack that left a young dad dead on his own stairs, and a partner left to raise their child alone. Under joint enterprise laws, everyone involved paid the price.
Across all three cases, one thing is clear:
