22 Dec 1992 - Roger has returned to town and wants to connect with Blake. He heads out to confront Ross over the newspaper article about Ross giving up the Senate for love. Meanwhile, Ross and Blake are enjoying each other's company. They discuss Roger's probable reactions to recent events. Ross and Blake disagree on Roger accepting their relationship. Blake goes to get coffee when there's a knock at the door. Roger invites himself in, not impressed with the Collier appointment. Roger then accuses Ross of using Blake as his cover story and claims that Ross really doesn't love her, just as Blake returns to the room. Ross watches as Roger tries to convince Blake of this, but she refuses to go with him. Roger notices the poster of Blake left unburnt in the fireplace, and his comments offend Blake and Ross. Roger still thinks he's right about Ross using Blake, even after Ross points out how wrong he is. In private, Roger says Ross' love will only be proved if and when he marries Blake. After Roger leaves, Blake gets upset when Ross wishes she could shut Roger out of her life.
