Musically, the Blue Band is considered one of the best in the nation, demonstrating excellence week in and week out. However, in terms of funding, we lag behind our peers. This financial disparity leads to challenges and limitations that bands with more substantial endowments do not face.
To address this, a fundraising effort led by Blue Band members, alumni, and friends aims to grow the band’s endowment. Blue Band Director Greg Drane has set a long-term goal of establishing a multi-million-dollar Blue Band Legacy Fund.
