EASTERN Anthem, winner of the Group 1 Dubai Sheema Classic back in 2009, will stand his first season next year alongside Indian Haven at Withyslade Farm in Wiltshire.
The seven-year-old was last seen running sixth in the 2010 renewal of Dubai Sheema Classic for Mahmood al Zarooni. In all, he won five of 16 starts and was also placed three times at Group 1 level.
One of only two sons at stud in Europe by Singspiel alongside Moon Ballad, Eastern Anthem is the first foal out of 1,000 Guineas and Oaks heroine Kazzia. His younger brother Zeitoper was successful in the 2009 Group 3 Prix de Conde.
