The Exploding Pingi Dehumidifier and its Replacement

Описание: Back in November 2021 I purchased a Pingi LV-A300 car dehumidifier to keep the inside of the windscreen of my LEAF clear on wet mornings. The little bag did a great job and dried out well when microwaved, however, after a few months a hole developed in the bag whilst in the microwave oven.

I was able to sew the hole in the bag up and stop the contents escaping. Last week I was drying the LV-A300 in the microwave once again when it suffered a catastrophic failure!!

I decided not to purchase another Pingi LV-A300 and replaced it with an Eco Ventis Dry Now that I picked up in Tesco for £5.30 (Tesco club card offer). I am curious as to how this new dehumidifier will last. Hopefully longer than the Pingi LV-A300!!
