In my latest video, I dive into the world of image feature detection by exploring three well-known algorithms: Fast, Harris, and Shi-Tomasi. I demonstrate their performance using various example images. The Harris algorithm tends to focus excessively on text, while Fast algorithm overgeneralizes, marking almost everything as a feature. The Shi-Tomasi algorithm shows better results, picking areas of interest more accurately, but it still misses critical features like Lobar Hemorrhages in MRI scans. Through this demonstration, I highlight the varying effectiveness of these algorithms based on image content and quality, hinting at potential future improvements and adjustments.
