Today, we will discuss a particular piece of furniture that was a common sight in almost every mid-19th-century home – bar cabinets. Surprisingly, in modern times, very few people have their own liquor cabinets at home, at least in Sweden. But in the 1940s and 1950s, it was a different story. Every respectable household was expected to have a dedicated cabinet for alcohol, complete with glassware, and perhaps even a container for refreshing ice cubes. Soon, we'll show you ten Scandinavian cabinets from different decades and share our thoughts on them. Sorry if the video is a bit chaotic and way too long.
