Turkish/Anatolian Spinning wheel

Описание: This is an amazing looking spinning wheel which we just had to have.
I have called it a cotton wheel as that is what research led us to understand. This we have seen with a spindle and also a Bobbin and flyer. The orifice on the flyer is tiny . So it could be called a Cotton Spinning Wheel or a Spinning wheel. Possibly a Spinning wheel could be a safer description.
Last week we got it home and decided to research it.
We used a Facebook site "Antique Spinning Wheels, Looms and Fiber Equipment".
The members and moderators where so helpful,
Armed with pictures, advice and support from that group, this is our thank you to them.
With some knowledge and the new found knowledge , using only the most basic of tools, a saw, sandpaper and a small block of hard wood.
This is the result.
I am sorry I could not give you a better demonstration. That is just not in me at this stage.
However I do hope you all appreciate what we have put together and we hope this will help others as the Spinning wheel group helped us.
