Our wedding film love story

How did you guys meet?
We met at work. We both work in the same team Steph as a senior marketing manager/J as a client relationship senior manager. Steph started at the company day before Covid so we met and then had a year of working online together becoming friends and then 18 months after starting we started dating

How did the proposal go down? (All the gushy details, I love this bit!)
J arranged for a spa break at Sopwell house under the guise of it being a Christmas treat before i abandoned him for 3 weeks as went to NZ. J arrange unbeknownst (actually i knew every detail) with the hotel staff while we were at dinner they would decorate the room with rose petals/champagne and balloons. When we walked into the room after dinner he got down on one knee (In panic because the staff had left the lights on so when i walked in first i could see everything)

How did you choose your wedding venue(s)?
I had seen Hedsor in several instagram profiles and thought we may love it even though we had planned on having a London wedding, but after viewing several venues we walked into Hedsor and just knew it was the one

What sort of experience do you want your guests to have?
We want the wedding to have the wow factor and want people to remember the day and keep talking about it afterwards Can you describe some of the details and stylings, does your wedding have a theme? We are doing our wedding very monochrome. Guests are black tie. We have several bows featured through out the day.

What was the hardest decision during the planning?
Keeping the budget spreadsheet away from J, but picking the wine was the hardest part of this process.

What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding?
