This is the final episode of my UK east coast road trip vlog series and it is a packed one.
I start at the little-known Cresswell Pele Tower before heading to the impressive ruins of Warkworth Castle. Then I visit Bamburgh Castle, a location I had high hopes for but one that turned out to be a real disappointment. Sometimes the most famous places are the least rewarding.
The highlight of the day was reaching the point where England meets Scotland on the coast. But getting there was far from easy. What looked simple on a map became one of the most frustrating and physically demanding challenges of the entire trip.
This last leg was about more than castles and coastline. It was about finishing something I set out to do. I am proud to have made it.
