Описание: J&K : Many tourists rescued after the Gulmarg cable car developed a technical snag. DGP Nalin Prabhat says, “The incident took place this afternoon. At around 1:20 pm, we received information that there was a technical snag in the Gulmarg gondola. Naturally, the cabins and tourists got stranded. Our first responders were the SHO Gulmarg and his team, who immediately rushed to the spot along with the SOG. Soon after, 14 SDRF teams were mobilised. Abdul Gani Mir sahib, who is standing here with me, led those teams. Later, one more team was added, taking the total to 15 teams. In addition, eight mountain rescue teams from the armed police were deployed, along with the Snow Leopard teams. A large-scale rescue operation was then launched by the Jammu and Kashmir Police.”
