I've been critical of Anthropic before, but in the case of the dispute that the company is having with the Pentagon and Trump administration, I fully support their right to decline their technology for use in combat.
As a result of Anthropic's decision, the US government has taken extreme measures, declaring them a "Supply Chain Risk." This is unprecedented for a US company. Personally, I don't think it will stand.
