Nahla, the region known for its beautiful landscape, is home to many Assyrians in north Iraq. Monday's show will feature a program from the village of Rabatkeh, Nahla, discussing life, education and even some of the hardships the Rabatkeh inhabitants endure.
AAS sponsors a school for the children living in the villages of Rabatkeh and Merookeh, providing them with teachers, funding the transportation of children to and from the school, and textbooks. The villagers thank AAS for your continued contributions.
As AAS volunteers, we ask you to continue your donations and encourage you to become Lifeline pledgers so that we can fund necessary projects such as renovating our Assyrian schools and paving their roads to improve transportation during the winter snow.
