Early season bank fishing at Elinor is always one of my best times of the year. Fish are close in and starting to feed on the naturals as the water starts to warm up. As it gets to 10C plus the fish have more energy and feed more often.
Washing line with a team of 4 and a pulling line with snake and blob, washing line most effective through out the day.
Today we had some stockies, some grown on rainbows and a lovely 6lb brown that must be a good few years only covered in leeches indicating its been laying deep all winter. Now its on the move and feeding on the naturals, hence a small black buzzer and not a bright coloured fab.
