This video comprises one successful demo and clips of eight outtakes for the challenge of scoring all monsters, items and secrets from a pistol start on Arrival's Map 03 'Water Putrefier' with no damage taken, whatsoever; a.k.a. 'No Damage Completion'. There is commentary throughout the video, mostly streamed live on Twitch as I attempted the challenge.

Thanks to LadyMistDragon for suggesting Map 03 in the comments for my Doom 2 Map 22 'The Catacombs' video.

My hardest yet (as of March 2023) cautious No Damage Completion challenge! I've employed a few new tricks to try to make the video entertaining, while also capturing the tension of, for example, trying to snipe a chaingunner on a high ledge nearly half an hour into an attempt, knowing that any mistake could send me back to the start.

As for the 'Pilgrim Chaingunner' in the thumbnail --- at first, even after I had finished investigating the map and started attempts, I just assumed that his initial position was close to the window where I usually killed him. When he went missing in one run, though, I became curious and played back a previous demo to discover the extraordinary journey he took to reach that position. Two gunners at the bottom of a flight of stairs bump into each other repeatedly until one is pseudo-randomly released to make the long approach towards DoomGuy.

So the legend of the 'Pilgrim' was born. But I never could have guessed how dramatically he would Arrive in my successful run (see what I did there?)

I am grateful to BigMacDavis, Decino & SoBad for making me aware of how great Arrival is, and I hope my playing style brings something different to the party. Of course I hope to honour the creation of Walker Wright and Brayden Hart with this video too.
