One of the best flights of Summer 2025. This has been on my Bucket list since I started flying.
This was a rad flight, but probably not a classic day for this range. It is a harder place to forecast for than most zones in the Rocky Mountains. This day looked great on paper but ended up being more blue and windy from the SW. The highlight was obviously getting low on the west side of the Grand Teton and having to soar the massive cliffs and find bits of lift to get over peak height. It was super super scenic and a bit scary. The rest of the flight I was just pushing around and checking out the range without a plan. I crossed to Jackson in the evening and had a low save to make it back to Wilson where I landed. Awesome day out!
