Several Congress leaders and MPs have gathered outside the Congress headquarters and are protesting on the Akbar Road, Delhi. Few of the leaders have already been detained. Ambika Soni, former Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Selja Kumari, former Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment and Tourism had been also taken by the police for detention. The police force has been constantly vacating the entire area and does not want the congregation of the senior leaders to be present. Section 144 has been imposed on the area.
