The 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles featured a newly commissioned work by John Williams which has gone on to be the sound of champions (as well as NBC's coverage) over the last 36 years. 2020 should have been an Olympic year..but...you know.....
Anyway, to fill the void, and to wish Olympic great Edwin Moses celebrate his birthday today (Aug 31), here's the full piece played on my beloved Kawai piano in the humid South in the continuing piano film scores series. Enjoy!
