Local police teams accompanied Tamanna at multiple points along her route. Tamanna Malik married Aman Tyagi, a Hindu from the same village. Due to their interfaith marriage, she vowed to perform jalabhishek if they wed. As she entered Sambhal with ritual water, large crowds gathered. Many, especially women, surrounded her for photos, blessings, and interaction. While most supported her, some criticized her for the Kanwar Yatra and questioned her interfaith devotion to Lord Shiva.
