Band of the Welsh Guards in Sunday Parade around Buckingham Palace 18 January 2026

Описание: This event, on 18 January 2026, was a Sunday Parade centred on Buckingham Palace. The music was provided by the Band of the Welsh Guards, and the King's Guard was from Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards. Leading the parade was, I believe, SDM (Senior Drum Major) Fairley.
The morning started off very dark and murky, with a bit of drizzle and light rain, but fortunately by the time I got to the Buckingham Palace area the clouds had started to lift and break, and it stayed dry during the time I was there. There was very little wind (wind can affect the recorded sound), as can be seen from the flag above Buckingham Palace.
It was rather more crowded than it had been during my previous visit.
In places I've left largely uncut footage where the band hasn't yet come into view, or has gone out of view, in order to keep as much of the music as possible.
