Summary on Cloud Computing and DevOps training Session || Amazon Web services ||

Описание: Hello everyone, today I would like to share what I learned during my **AWS Cloud and DevOps training program**. This training was very valuable as it provided both theoretical knowledge and real-time practical exposure to modern cloud and automation technologies used in the IT industry.

To begin with, *Cloud Computing* is the delivery of services like servers, storage, databases, networking, and software over the internet instead of physical hardware. It helps organizations reduce costs, improve scalability and security, and deploy applications faster.

During the training, we worked extensively with **Amazon Web Services (AWS)**, the world’s leading cloud service provider.
The first service we learned was **Amazon S3**, which is used for secure object storage. We created S3 buckets, uploaded files, managed permissions, and understood how cloud storage works in real-world scenarios.

Next, we learned about **Amazon EC2**, which allows us to create and manage virtual servers in the cloud. We launched EC2 instances, selected instance types, connected using SSH, and hosted applications that were publicly accessible. This gave us hands-on experience in cloud-based application hosting.

We also learned **IAM (Identity and Access Management)**, which is used to manage users, roles, and permissions in AWS. This helped us understand cloud security and access control best practices.

Another important service was **VPC (Virtual Private Cloud)**, which allows us to create a private network in AWS. We learned about subnets, route tables, internet gateways, and security groups, which helped us understand cloud networking in production environments.

At the end of the AWS module, we worked on a *mini project* where we deployed application code from GitHub to an EC2 instance and hosted it successfully. This project helped us understand how multiple AWS services work together.

After AWS, we moved to the **DevOps module**. DevOps combines Development and Operations to automate software development, testing, deployment, and monitoring, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery.

We learned about **CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment)**, where code is automatically built, tested, and deployed whenever changes are pushed to GitHub.

We used *Git and GitHub* for version control and source code management, *Maven* for build automation and dependency management, and *Jenkins* to create CI/CD pipelines. Using Jenkins, we automated the entire process—from pulling code from GitHub, building with Maven, running tests, to deploying the application automatically. This gave us real industry-level DevOps experience.

By integrating **AWS Cloud with DevOps**, I understood how modern applications are developed and deployed efficiently in real-world environments.

Apart from technical skills, this training also improved my *teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills* through collaborative projects.
