This walkthrough of Dark Fortress in Outland to navigate the tricky jumps, fonts, and enemies in this area. You need to find and retrieve the Guardian Key here, and bring it to the boss door to begin another epic battle. When you do, you'll take on The Winged Serpent. 

Move right, wall-jumping then launching
to climb upward. Look left for treasure, then follow the Light right.
Fight your way along the floor for more treasure, then use the launch
pads to make your way up and to the right, switching or simply timing
your launches to avoid the fonts. Shoot straight up from the launch
pad near the ceiling to find a hidden chamber, which houses a Mark of
the Gods. Fight a few sorcerers as you continue right, and throw the
switch you find up ahead. Dropping down here, then fighting as far
forward as you can go, down a ladder and a blue platform, through a
bunch of sorcerers and spiders, will net you a good haul of treasure,
and a health upgrade station. When you've got all that, head back to
the switch, and the area just to its left. Use the launch pads there
to reach the upper level.

Wall-jump up, and head right, through
some warriors and fonts. Use some pads, the walls, then a ladder to
climb upward, taking out the jellyfish above as you go. Head right,
fighting a few big spiders. Go all the way to the right, past the
switch, and use the pads to reach the Mark high above. A good
wall-jump is required to snag it. Then go back and hit the switch.

Head all the way to the far left, past
the ladder, and use the pad to get up to the higher level. Go right,
using the launch pad, and careful timing, to avoid the fonts. Make
your way along the platforms and launch pads that lead right. The
blue platform can be tough to time, since it's off the screen for
most of its track. Your best bet is to be red, get as far right as
you can, and switch in the air, after you've cleared the energy
above. Similarly precise timing is need to reach the red one above.
This is the time to collect the money jug you may have noticed
before, by dropping down from the most right-hand extension of the
red platform's track, though you'll have to get your way back up here
if you choose to go for it. Fight some flying monsters, and a
sorcerer, as you continue right.

Launch as far up as you can go, and
move to the right, battling enemies and collecting treasure as you
go. Climb the platforms above, fighting some tough enemies as you go;
beams are good here, if you've got the energy. You'll have to launch
yourself through the elaborate fonts at the very top. Be blue to get
through, then switch to red before falling back through the platform.
Take out the sorcerer, then wall-jump up and grab the Guardian Key.
As you may've noticed, the boss door for this world isn't far back.
Head there.
