The Impala has been painted at some time, but is the original color, Tahitian Turquoise, that it came from the factory. Exactly when the car was repainted or if it has been repainted is unknown, but the paint absolutely stunning. Pop the hood and you see the original 283 CID V-8 and Powerglide 2 speed transmission. Another rarity for 1965 is factory installed AC. Grand Dad’s car didn’t have this, would have been nice on those trips to church on Sunday. Inside the Aqua interior looks just as good as the day it was brought from Bob Hook Chevrolet in Louisville Ky. The current owner bought this car from the original owner, who always garage kept the Impala and never took it out in the rain, which explains the overall superb condition of this car.
