Описание: One of the more interesting parts of Waste collection around here are the HOA‘s that contract different services than the city around them. There are some in the suburbs, but the most common place for these types of neighborhoods is in the city of Chicago, where these townhome neighborhoods are technically private property, and can therefore opt out of Chicago Streets and San and get their own waste service. There can be advantages, such as having valet trash or picking a different day than the city will give you, but I would probably guess the biggest reason is weekly recycling pick up from the private guys versus every other week from the city. It’s also very possible that the city refuses to drive their trucks on alleys that aren’t maintained by them, but this i’m not sure. As for the truck, I was happy to find this Mack LE McNeilus rear loader from Flood Bros as I got to one of the HOA‘s I knew went on Thursdays (thanks Jaden @Trashmaster15 for the route), and was able to get some video. I wanted to film one of these from flood for a while so finally getting the chance especially in a cool neighborhood like this was exciting. The driver was super cool and let me follow for a long time so a massive massive thank you goes out to him. I love filming in these dense type neighborhoods, especially filming something as cool as this, as I’m sure everybody watching this knows by now how much I love old Macks.
