This is the most important post I’ve ever written.
Last year, I was diagnosed with cancer. It came without warning — like a lightning bolt. One day, you’re planning listings and showings… and the next, you’re planning for surgery, chemo, and the unknown.
I went through 10 rounds of chemo (was supposed to do 12… I physically couldn’t). I endured daily radiation treatments that slowly wore me down week by week. My body changed. My mind raced. And time — time became something I finally understood:
You don’t get to buy it. You don’t get to beg for more. And you never get it back.
At night, that chemo machine whispered beside me as I tried to sleep. Cold hands. No appetite. No comfort. Just grit. Just hope.
Then came surgery. I met a surgeon who I immediately knew was the one — Dr. Rashidi. I trusted my gut, and she delivered a miracle. I woke up without a bag, cancer removed, body intact. I cried the night before surgery, scared, holding back tears in front of my wife… and I cried tears of gratitude after.
Today, I can say the words I’ve been praying for:
I am cancer free. 🙏
Tests. Surgery. Tissue scans. Follow-ups. All clear.
There’s still monitoring ahead. There’s still recovery. But today — I have a second chance. And I don’t take one second for granted.
I’ve realized what really matters.
✅ Time with my kids.
✅ Being fully present.
✅ Protecting my energy and peace.
✅ Working with purpose, not pressure.
✅ Surrounding myself with those who love deeply and show up even deeper.
This experience changed me. And now, more than ever, I want to live with stillness, joy, focus, and presence — as a father, a partner, a friend… and yes, even as a real estate professional.
To everyone who sent messages, gifts, prayers, and encouragement — my heart is full. You kept me lifted when I didn’t know how to stand.
To my team and clients who stood by me — thank you for being my tribe.
To the doctors who gave me life — I will never forget.
✨ Cancer took a piece of me. But it gave me back something greater: clarity.
I am still here. And I’m going to make every moment count. 💛
