Описание: International tourism expenditures are expenditures of international outbound visitors in other countries, including payments to foreign carriers for international transport. These expenditures may include those by residents traveling abroad as same-day visitors, except in cases where these are important enough to justify separate classification. For some countries, they do not include expenditures for passenger transport items. Data are in current U.S. dollars.

China is the top country by tourism expenditures in the world. As of 2018, tourism expenditures in China were 277,345 million US dollars that account for 18.20% of the world's tourism expenditures. The top 5 countries (others are the United States of America, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France) account for 45.59% of it. The world's total tourism expenditures was estimated at 1,524,070 million US dollars in 2018.
