"Updates in Clinical Point-of-care Ultrasound" by Dr Keith Barron, MD, FACP
Keith Barron is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Prisma Health Midlands – University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, SC. He works as an academic hospitalist and has been using point-of-care ultrasound since medical school. Keith completed the Primary Care Ultrasound Fellowship at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2015 and now serves as the Director of Ultrasound Fellowship. He is also the Director of Internal Medicine Ultrasound at Prisma Health Midlands, overseeing all clinical ultrasound activities for the department. He teaches point-of-care ultrasound to medical students, residents, and faculty at local, regional, and national levels, and serves on two editorial boards for ultrasound medical journals.
