Walking the Mysterious Forgotten River of Shooters Hill | London Adventure (4K)

Описание: Fantastic walking tracing the River Wogebourne which rises in Oxleas Wood, South London and flows through Welling and Plumstead to Thamesmead on the banks of the River Thames.

Our walk starts by the Bull Inn on Shooters Hill and then goes into Oxleas Wood looking for the source of the magical river Wogebourne. We then follow the stream as it disappears underground and we walk through the streets on Welling to East Wickham Open Space and Bourne Spring Wood. Crossing Wickham Lane we follow the river as it flows behind houses on the edge of Bostall Woods. Crossing the Elizabeth Line at Abbey Wood Station the final section of our riverine ramble takes us through Thamesmead as the Wogebourne flows into South Mere then continues along the course of Crossway Canal.
