shooting portraits of friends on film - ANALOG DIALOG [EP2: KIM]

Описание: There is one thing I always found odd when it comes to videos on portrait photography: When the subject is the main point of interest - why do I learn so little about them? In a lot of videos that show portrait photos taken, I learn about the clothes the model is wearing, I learn about the photographers and their technical approaches, I learn about the camera gear or film stocks used, I learn about the lightning setup - but I seldomly learn something about the person who is bravely looking into the lens. So when my interest grew to try out more portrait photography myself, I wanted to go for an attempt that felt more natural to me: and that is to not only use photography but also cinematographic as a medium to create a portrait of the person in front of the camera. That's how 'Analog Dialog' was born: Just a couple of friends, having conversations and taking photos together.

Episode 2: Kim
Kim and I have been friends for over 7 years now and even lived together for the past 3 years. Even though we met in university studying psychology together, we also share a love for art. Kim is a jack of all trades - a talented painter, a versatile actor, and first and foremost: an awesome friend who always has an open ear. Danke Kim. 🤍
