Philippine Air Force to acquire additional Medium Lift Transport Aircraft

Описание: The Philipppines' Department of National Defense is expected to acquire additional Medium Lift Transport Aircraft for the Philippine Air Force, as part of the Horizon 2 phase priority projects of the Revised AFP Modernization Program.

It is expected that the project would be awarded to Airbus Military - CASA, which will supply their C-295 medium tactical transport aircraft. The C-295 is already in service with the PAF, with 3 C-295M aircraft in service with the 220th Airlift Wing, and 1 C-295M aircraft that would be configured for VVIP transport and Command and Control operated by the 250th Presidential Airlift Wing.
