A small group of educators with a dream and a mission, working closely with parents and the San Joaquin County Office of Education, had a plan to create something new for students in San Joaquin County. Part of their goal was to build a non-traditional approach to learning that could awaken the passion and imagination of students and put them on a path to become lifelong learners who embrace challenges while pursuing their dreams.
The plan came to life 20 years ago, and it lives on today. It's the Venture Academy Family of Schools.
