Build & Optimise a London Breakout EA in MQL5 (5-Year Backtest)

Описание: In this video, we build a complete London Breakout Expert Advisor in MQL5 from scratch.

We:
• Define the Asia range
• Use candle body breakout confirmation
• Place stop loss on the opposite side with a buffer
• Target a fixed R multiple
• Trade only during the London session

After building it, we run a full 5-year backtest.
Initial result: 12.5% gain.

Then we optimise the parameters and re-run the 5-year test.
Final result: 42.75% gain.

This video shows how strategy structure and parameter refinement can significantly improve performance.
