Train: Trix 22325
The original decoder from Trix was replaced by one from my preferred digital system.
With the original decoder the train is much slower, approx. 300 km/h (H0 scale) top speed.
And, I wasn’t happy about the sounds provided by the original decoder. For example the sound that emulates the power converter isn’t the same as in the original. The original sound of the Velaro range has a very particular sound.
The drive train (motor and transmission) are in original state .
Speed measure: "PIKO Messwagen" (55050).
Camera: Sony HDR - AZ1.
Camera mounted on Klms (Roco 76313).
The oval is assembled with tracks of Roco Line with R20 (1962 mm).
The tracks are screwed on sections.
The garden isn’t totally even, so in some sections the circuit goes smoothly up or down.
This up and down, of course, has effects on the top speed.
