Here is the all new 2026 Toyota 4Runner Limited i-Force! The new 2026 Toyota 4Runner offers two different engines. The standard 4 cylinder turbo or the hybrid version. To me the hybrid is the way to go, as that is what I went with for my 25 Tacoma!! Packing a 2.4L inline 4 cylinder turbo hybrid with 326 horsepower and 465 pound feet of torque, the new 4Runner i-Force Max is really powerful! I will say, the non hybrid still packs a punch and does have more torque than the outgoing V6. The EV power delivers so much in the low RPM and never lets the engine feel like it's struggling. The new 8 speed transmission is also seamless with acceleration. The Premium package adds in all the tech features and the SofTex seats. Overall the interior is really nice, aside from the cheap hard plastic on the dash and doors. That's my biggest gripe with the interior. MSRP was $58,000 however this had some dealer/port add ons like the Nitto tires, roof rails, floor mats, side steps. That made the actual MSRP over $62,000. So I'd buy a TRD Off Road Premium Hybrid, but with no dealer accessories. Under $60k seems like a solid price for the new 2026 4Runner. It drives great and feels very rugged. Nice tech overall and just seems like a very capable SUV. A real 4 wheel drive system with plenty of drive modes to concur all terrains and plenty of space for the family! Back seats seem to be comfortable for passengers and overall I really liked the new 4Runner. Hybrid all day long is the way to go and you really need to get a high spec to get a 'nice' 4Runner. But if you get any of the Premiums, Limited, or Pro/Trailhunter with an i-Force Max, you will love the 4Runner! Basic trims with the standard 4 cylinder do feel a bit cheap for their price.
