The first $25,000 of assessed value is taxed

$25,001 yo to $150,000 exempt from taxation with exceptions

School District levies will be asssessed and taxed on the full value of the
property (are not exempted from taxation)

The amount of value of homesteaded property exempt from taxation
shall be adjusted annually

Existing law adjusts the amount of vale exempt from taxation is
adjusted for inflation annually

Each year for the next 9 years, beginning January 2028,
the value exempt from taxation will increase by $100,000

Beginning January 1, 2037 the exemption under under paragraph (a) (1) b
shall equal the assessed value of the property

Local Government
Prohibition of Reductions in Local First Responder Funding

Beginning with the 2027-2028 local fiscal year, the total funding
provided by each local government for services provided by law
enforcement, firefighters, and other first responders, as provided by
general law, may not be less than such jurisdiction's total budgeted
amount for such servicesin either the 2025-2026 or 2026-2027 local
fiscal year, whichever was higher, notwithstandingany reduction
in ad valorem revenue that may result from the amendment to Article
VII, approved by voterson November 3, 2026.

Funding Restrictions

This section, the amendment to section 6 of Article VII increasing the
exemption for homestead properties from ad valorem taxes other than
school levies by $100,000 each year for ten yesars and making
homestead property exempt from ad valorem taxes other than school
levies beginning January 1, 2037, and the creation of Section 7 of Article
VIII prohibiting local governments from reducing first responder funding
below a specified level shall take effect January 1, 2027
