In this session, we dive into launching and accessing a web server using AWS EC2 from a Windows machine via SSH, and we also explore how Security Groups affect server accessibility.

🔐 Security Groups — Real-World Testing & Learnings:
In this lecture, we also play around with Security Group settings to see what happens when certain rules are removed:

1) If HTTP (port 80) is removed from inbound rules, your hosted website will no longer load in the browser.

2) If SSH (port 22) is removed, you won’t be able to access your EC2 instance via terminal — meaning no remote control.

This highlights why it's critical to have:

1) SSH access (port 22) open for administrative login

2) HTTP access (port 80) open for web traffic

Both ports must be allowed to run and manage a web server from your EC2 instance successfully.
