Three For All - 100th Episode Special

I created special episodes for the 50th Chordplay & Three-For-All lesson last year, and earlier this year I created a special 100th episode of Chordplay. Now we've hit the 100th episode of Three-For-All and in a similar format, we're hitting some of my ideas in this lesson.

There were a few comments that sprouted up from a few friends I made when I was a student at the Atlanta Institute of Music (AIM) and then the request for featuring some of my licks came up again, along with the specific request of featuring some "AIM licks," which is exactly what you'll find in this special episode.

When I was a student at AIM, I created a "lick book" which was a binder with blank tab paper inside and I started writing/notating a lick every day. This "lick-a-day" concept was something I started doing on my own, and once I showed some of my work to a few instructors and fellow students, I felt I was on to something useful and continue writing licks daily in that book for over two years.

I still have the old weathered pages from that lick book and the licks/ideas shared in this lesson came directly from my old book I created a few decades ago. The ideas shared here include a tasty hybrid pentatonic phrase, a jazzy chromatic/pentatonic blended idea, a slip-n-slide position shifting run, and more!
