20 Acres & Passive Solar: The Day We Found Our Dream Property

Описание: One year ago today - on January 7, 2025 - we officially closed on our dream property. But months before we signed the papers, we took a chance and visited this house for the very first time. We didn't know if it was too far away or too much to manage, but we knew we had to leave the noise, cramped space, suburbs hubbub, and HOA behind.

In this video, we’re taking you back to day one: our first walkthrough with the realtor. You’ll see the raw potential we saw—the acres of land, the passive solar design, and the massive storage space we desperately needed.
We had a dream list:
• ✅ Escape the HOA: We wanted total freedom.
• ✅ Land for Adventure: Space to build our own private mountain bike trail.
• ✅ Sustainability and Comfort: A home with passive solar features.
• ✅ Efficient Storage Space: Space for cars, bicycles and tools.

Looking back a year later, we had no idea what was coming. From the physical exhaustion and exhilaration of trail building to battling stink beetles, it’s been a wild year. This video is the beginning of that story.
