Exploring in the Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve where a once booming logging town called Cumpressco existed. It was active in the 1920's through the 1940's and was connected to the the town of Lacoochee where the Cummer Sons Cypress Company had a sawmill. Along the way I ventured onto some of the old railroad lines once in use during the days of the town. Nature has reclaimed much of the areas though you get a sense of the past exploring out here. It's pristine and peaceful now and days. Enjoy the adventure and thank you!
