Woman arrested after allegedly setting fire to Sembawang HDB flat

Описание: A 46-year-old woman has been arrested after a fire broke out in an HDB flat in Sembawang on Tuesday (Jun 30).

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a blaze in the bedroom of a unit on the 10th floor of Block 512 Wellington Circle at about 5.15pm.

SCDF added that preliminary investigations indicate the fire was deliberately set.

The woman, who was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation, was later arrested for mischief by fire, police said. Investigations are ongoing. #singapore #sgnews
